As part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (AMAK) celebrations, Embassy celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Day on 31 October. On this occasion, India based officials of the Mission led by Shri N.Venkataraman, Charge d'Affaires read out the Rashtriya Ekta Shapat. The Charge d'Affaires spoke on this occasion on the life and ideals of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, whose birthday on 31 October is celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Day or National Unity Day. A small documentary on the life of Sardar Patel was screened on this occasion. Floral tributes were paid to Sardar Patel by the Indian diaspora & Congolese people present on this occasion.
