Mahakumbh Mela-2025 

The Mahakumbh Mela-2025 is scheduled to be held at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh from January 13, 2025 to February 26, 2025.  The first auspicious 'snan' is scheduled on 13-14 January, 2025 which will attract crores of pilgrims  from across the globe. 

2. It is expected that Kalpavasis-pilgrims who would station themselves at Kumbh will start arriving from early January 2025. In order to manage huge gathering of lakhs of people at the mela site and to ensure safe and hassle-free access to Sangam, several crowd management strategies including traffic restrictions would be put in place in and around Prayagraj city.
