Eligibility of Visa

Journalist visas are issued to professional journalists and photographers visiting India for journalism. Journalist visiting for any other purpose such as Tourism, etc., will only be given Journalist visa(J).

Duration of Visa

Up to 6 months/Single Entry (or Double entry with HOM’s approval)

Documents required

Original Passport valid for a minimum period of six months
Two recent Passport size photographs with white/light background showing full frontal view of the face without dark/colored glasses
Online Visa Application Form to be completed at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in and print & sign for submission to the Embassy.
Invitation letter from India, if any
Copy of his accreditation A Journalist Visa intended to make documentaries etc in India; six weeks are required to process the application.

Note: All nationals visiting from Republic of Congo to India need Yellow Fever Vaccination card

Consular
